Rides for hospital procedures and discharge

Going in for a procedure, or coming home from one? A Plus handles the ride so you don't have to drive yourself.

Open Mon–Fri 5 am–5 pm, Sat 9 am–3 pm.

What this ride covers

A Plus Medical Transport drives people to scheduled hospital procedures and brings them home after outpatient discharge.

If you're having sedation, ask the hospital about its rules for the ride home before the day. Some hospitals want a family member or caregiver with you as well.

Discharge times can be hard to predict. Tell A Plus the hospital and the expected time, and call as soon as you know you're being released.

How it works

  1. Call or send a request

Call (346) 366-1110, or tap Request a ride on this page and send your trip details by email. Please give A Plus 24 to 48 hours' notice.

  2. A Plus confirms availability and price

You'll know whether A Plus can take the trip and what it costs before anything is arranged.

  3. Pickup

Be ready at the pickup time A Plus gives you, so you arrive when the hospital asked.

  4. Going home

Call A Plus as soon as you know when you're being released, and it will confirm your pickup.
